EPA promotes “6 actions for saving Mother Earth”
(RTI) Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration promoted six actions for saving Mother Earth on Sunday. The head of the administration Stephen Shen spoke about the six actions on Sunday.
Shen said, “The first action is to conserve water, the second is to reduce carbon emissions, third is to recycle, fourth is to fight pollution, fifth is to clean our homes, and the last is to protect our homeland.”
Shen was speaking in front of the Presidential Office in Taipei at activities held to mark both Mother’s Day and the birth of Buddha. He was joined by two major Taiwan-based Buddhist organizations.
